The prisoners hewed rocks for the production of
tiles. Here you can see some of heavy, circular disposed tables of approximately 1 ft
height with a massive wooden surface. Their function maybe secret forever. |

Such buckets you can find all around, not only within the quarries. I think, they were simply used for transportation purposes. |

The whole island is covered with quarries of any kind, small
ones and big ones. No places, where not has been burrowed. I save my energy
to show them all here, except this special one. The stone has not been
burrowed or broken here like in all quarries, it has been sawed. Good to see on the pictures are the fine cuts. |
