Remark of the Author:
In the meantime the snack bar got good enhancement and popularity raised in the ambience. They offer simple meals like Cevapcici and Hamburgers, but also calamari etc.
Lots of local vacationists meet here for lunch or just for a cold beer.
As also official excursion boats are stopping here, there is less space for landing at most times for smaller boats.
It is a pity that most of the guests are just stopping over for eating and barely anybody is interested in Golis history...

The industrial area is located directly next to harbor 1, here in photographers back.
Along the way up, to left and to the right, there are lots of workshops located, e.g. E-shop, locksmith, printing house, glasser and shops for packaging or chemical processes, like galvanizing or something.

One of the workshops to the left carries just above its entry in big red letters the following citation of Josip Broz Tito:

There were built several large halls for production purposes in the lower area of the industrial zone.

Sorry, but there are no hints to find what's the real abandonment's of this halls.

According to my reader Angelika S. there was built furniture, which is mainly exported to the United States.

Another blacksmith's workshop.

This house is separated in the left half of the industry (looking uphill), in a free area just behind the row of workshops.
Maybe used as a depot.

What was the prisoners thinking when looking to that drawing? Remember that Goli is known as a cruel hell!

Possibly this drawing shows Titos mansion between Bugojno and Kupres in Bosnia.

In a small room I found this furniture, mostly placarded with nude girls.
Such "galleries" you can find all over the island, but not alls favorite theme is the female sex, sometimes it is motor biking or fast cars.

On the upper end of the industrial area you can find this fire station.
Hoses and fire extinguisher are laying all around here, but they're no more useable for sure.

Those who also visited Goli and stood here, surely wondered about the red double line crossing the road here, marked with the letters ZABRANJENO PUSENJE. That means nothing else like NO SMOKING.
