GOLI OTOK
Epilogue

There are several areas, I skipped in my tour, e.g. a village in the Mala Draga bay, a storage and parts of the southern industry area. I will do my best to include these themes as soon as possible.

My first trip to Goli was in 1994 and since than, a lot of things were destroyed. The idea and the possibility to capture my impressions in this way, I had unfortunately too late. So tourists and natives of the local area had time enough to plunder and ruin everything. Floors, furniture and mattresses were frazzled in hope, to find some hidden secrets. Lots of visitors sprayed their graffiti's to walls. Farmers are using the island as pasture for their sheep's, which take over another large part of destruction. The destruction takes its way, like on the neighbor island Grgur, which was a prison for females. Grgur is left 20 years ago so you can't find interesting things anymore, except a few ruins, in a different manner to the earlier years.
Goli expects the same destiny and I'm happy that I visited both island timely.
