In the direct neighborhood to Goli you will find the "female" complement Grgur, used as a women's prison until the end of the 70's.

Grgur A view into the great bay in the northwest of the island, with harbor, power station and storehouse.

Grgur Distinctive the huge lettering "TITO" with a star on top uphill close to the peak. Countless stones and rocks were carried together by the prisoners.

The power station in the harbor area. Electrical power was generated by a 4-cyl Diesel-engine with alternator.

At this point many thanks to Dr. Herwig Hofbauer for these impressive pics.

Grgur The storehouse in the harbor area.
